REGISTRATION |
Early pre-registered packet pick-up is SATURDAY, JUNE 27TH at FAUROT PARK ROTARY PAVILION from 1-3PM. Race Day Registration begins at 7AM, is $15.00 and limited shirts available |
Starting Line is at the entrance of Faurot Park at Lakewood & Cole. It is a rolling to flat 3.1 mile course on paved city streets through downtown Lima and coming back to the park on our paved River Walk, finishing by the Rotary Pavilion. 2 Water Stations, Mile Splits and a Lovely "Waterspray" provided by the Lima Fire Department. PARKING FOR EVENT |
Parking for the event is available in the field just east (down the hill) of Woodlawn Cemetary on Northshore Drive, accessible from Woodlawn and Spencerville Road. Side streets over by Faurot Park are also available as well as some lots in Faurot Park west of Cole Street. |
RACE DAY AGENDA |
Holly Geaman Koza will be our host for this year's event...she will be on hand for announcements beginning around 8:15 or so, at the Rotary Pavilion. We also plan to have race instructions and announcements up at the stone shelterhouse by the cannon on Cole St where the race start is. Refreshments will be available at race finish. When we have all of our participants in, we will begin the door prize giveaways, followed by the race awards, presented by Dr. Patterson of the Orthopaedic Institute. |

Top Three Men and Women Overall receive trophies and prizes. Minimum 3, Maximum 5 in each age group receive awards. No Duplications. (BABIES OR CHILDREN IN STROLLERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS...You must compete (not just finish)under your own power). Awards to best Overall Patriotic costumes and Awards to Youngest and Oldest Finishers. |

We pride ourselves on lots of great door prizes that get better every year! Some will be drawn and presented while we are waiting on the race results....the bigger prizes after the awards.
